SUPPORT YOUR COMMUNITY

 Greetings from the Riverside Area Community Club.

 
  We want to thank you for all your suggestions and ideas!  Some are over the top and some are really, really great!  But lets be honest with each other, an idea is just and idea without a person behind it to make it a reality. 

  Your RACC is an all volunteer, non-profit, organization and we honestly need your help.  We need volunteers.  Do you like the idea of supporting scouting?  Want to help good kids get an head start with a scholarship?  Want to show your support and respect for our first responders?  Would you be interested in helping with community projects and improvements?  Or maybe you just want to be involved in Trekfest?  Your RACC does all of these things and more, we could use your help. 

  You don't need to spend more time than you want to, if you only have a few hours to give any help would be appreciated.  We have lots of opportunities both big and small.  There is something for everyone no matter your ability or interest.  What we don't have is enough people.  We need you! 

  Think of a garden, if you don't spend time in it, it becomes overgrown with weeds and can soon be forgotten.  Invest a little time and you can reap the rewards be it: pride in what you have done, complements from friends and neighbors, or the product of your investment.  And while you volunteer you can: meet new people, make new friends, find someone with a common interest and help your community all at the same time.   

 
  I would like to suggest, if you have any interest at all, that you come down to Madeline's Coffee House and sit in on our next meeting to see what we are all about.  There is no charge to look! ;)  If you want to jump in with both feet our annual membership drive is at the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort, please see the UPCOMING EVENTS section of our WWW page, or you can join at any time at our meetings. 

  Come take a look.  Come join the fun.  Come help your community.
